Beautiful scenery, and a very well maintained course. At 6,290 yards from the tips, it's fairly short for a Par 71, but still a good challenge, especially if it's windy. There's water on just 8 holes, so you won't lose many golf balls on this one. Most of the course is straight with 6 holes with doglegs. Seems like the pace of play is fairly fast, we played in 3 hours, with not much waiting at all. The green fee for a Tuesday midday was $43, which is cheap for a full length courses in the Lower Mainland. Definetly worth the price during the week.

Would not play at this course again
Greens and generally grounds in terrible condition - Green chewed up, tee boxes are a mess, no one replaces divots, need a 4x4 for cart paths.
Overpriced, 3 out of 4 golf bags fell off cart, this resulted in one of our foursomes new driver breaking, Course marshall is a little over zealous, finished course in about 4.25/4.5 hours, he kept telling us we were jamming up, people behind us delayed our game as they kept hitting off our fairway when we were trying to tee off. Also on first hole they were teeing off when we were on second shot. Staff could care less about customer service

Course is in the category of "pasture golf," synomomous with the way golf was meant to be played, on land that is as nature created it, not on a pristine, over fertilized, with tile type of fairways. That said, this is a beautiful piece of property, better than would be hard to find. each hole is individual, with masterfully situated trees and water throughout. A pristine, crisp fairway type course? No, just one that is naturally beautiful, with minimal, to say the least, upgrading. if you want a spectacular walk in the park spoiled by the occasional (18 in fact) holes to put your ball in, then this is your place. It is serene beyond anything else in the Vancouver area.

There are many choices in the Sea to Sky corridor, and I have played them all but NOTHING beats Squamish Valley G&CC.
It's an older "classic?" course, very walkable, and while a challenge, it is okay for the novice.
    One warning though, the greens!
I don't know what they would rate on the Stimpmeter, but these badboys are very fast!!
By far and away the best value in the entire corridor, and a pure pleasure to play. I HIGHLY recommend the course.

The amenities are unbelievable. The practice facilities were great. The course itself was good but not great. The 8th hole green had a weird chunk in the middle that looked like a soccer field in January? My only other problem is that if you miss hit the ball even a little bit your ball is gone....long gone. PS food was great

Course is good. You won't loose many balls and its kept up quite well. Wide open fairways and not a lot of hazards. It's over priced on the weekend.

Wasn't a fan of this course at all. The people in front of us left us an empty in the middle of every fairway. The greens had pebbles (not sand) all over them and divots. The fairways were extremely uneven and the grass looked like my backyard.

Played on 2010-04-24 @ TALL TIMBERS GOLF COURSE located in Langley, BC, Canada

My friend and I went to this course about a week ago and we thought we would be playing at something similar to Burnaby Mountain golf. Boy were we wrong! The condition of the course is a joke, there literally is no fairway, the greens make pitch and putt greens look decent. Some of the tee box mats are in better shape than the proper tee boxes. If a little TLC is put into this course it could be something good, but avoid this course unless you are too cheap to play anywhere else. Do not pay full price for this course.

Played on 2010-03-07 @ VALLEY GOLF COURSE located in Abbotsford, BC, Canada

It was not worth the fees they charged. Most of the greens were not useable, even thought they told us that only 4 greens were unusable. They gave us $20 off and a gift certificate for $20 off for a round later which was useless because I wasn't driving 1400km for that.

Views are great although the course is very tough. Our foursome and the two foresomes ahead and behind us did not have very much fun playing this course. Too many blind shots. I suspect that the majority of people will play this course once and not return.
